PA6-GF

PA6-GF

$0.4 per gram

Built for Structure and Stability
This nylon composite is reinforced with glass fiber for exceptional stiffness and strength. With a bending modulus around 5,460 MPa and flexural strength of about 151 MPa, it delivers rock-solid performance—perfect for parts that hold shape under load .

Reliable Through Temperature and Time
Rated for heat deflection up to about 186 °C, this material retains rigidity in hot conditions. It also resists warping across large prints, offering consistency when it matters.

Tough Without Compromise
Impact resistance (~40 kJ/m²) ensures parts can handle vibration, bumps, and moderate shock. Interestingly, the filament becomes tougher when exposed to moisture, gaining extra resilience while still maintaining core strength.

Surface That Means Business
The chopped glass fibers create a matte, slightly textured finish that hides minor imperfections and feels solid in the hand—no frills, just purposeful design.

🔧 Best For:

  • Structural components: mounting brackets, load-bearing housings, mechanical frames

  • Thermally demanding parts: engine mounts, tool fixtures, heat-exposed mechanicals

  • Chemical-resilient gear: parts needing resistance to oils, solvents, and everyday fluids
