PPA-CF
PPA-CF
Engineered for Industrial Use
This carbon-fiber-reinforced nylon delivers nearly double the stiffness and strength of standard PA6-CF—with a bending modulus around 9,860 MPa and flexural strength near 208 MPa, it performs where accuracy and toughness matter most.
Humidity? No Problem.
Moisture absorption is slashed compared to other nylons—remaining stable even underwater. Its stiffness drops just ~2–3% when wet versus ~60% for standard PA6-CF—so your parts stay true to size and shape in any environment.
Heat-Resistant and Durable.
Engineered to withstand sustained exposure up to 227 °C (0.45 MPa HDT), this material stands firm in hot and demanding environments like engine compartments, industrial tools, or under-hood components.
Lean but Robust.
Loaded with 15 wt% carbon fiber, PPA‑CF weights less while packing serious structural performance. The result: lightweight parts that don’t compromise on strength or reliability.
Matte Precision.
The chopped fibers give prints a refined matte surface that hides minor imperfections. No-shaped parts, jigs, or structural housings—this material means business, visually and mechanically.
🔧 Best For:
-
Precision structural components: brackets, mounts, frames that demand repeatable accuracy
-
Automotive or industrial gear: pump housings, heat shields, engine fixtures
-
Water- or humidity-exposed parts: outdoor connectors, marine hardware, fluid interface components
