AD-Slicer Launch + My First International Orders

AD-Slicer Launch + My First International Orders

Andrew Dzobko

Alright, this one’s got some juice.

First off — AD-Slicer officially launched on Friday!
If you missed the memo, it’s my shiny new custom tool that lets you upload your model, preview it in 3D, get a quote instantly, and order right from the site.
No more emailing me asking “how much would this cost?”
No more waiting.
Just upload → price → done.
It’s live, it’s working, and it’s awesome.

But that’s not even the biggest thing…

On Tuesday, I got my first ever international orders! 🎉
It kind of happened all at once — I woke up Thursday morning to see two orders on Etsy:
🇦🇺 One from Australia
🇨🇭 Another from Switzerland
And then later that day, 🇩🇪 Germany chimed in too.

It was honestly surreal seeing people from across the world ordering something I made in my little 3D printing corner of Burnaby.
Here's a quick photo of me packing one of those orders:

Also — I’ve started dabbling in some backend automation this week.
I run my own self-hosted bookkeeping software where I track expenses and income, and I started setting up a system that sends Shopify orders directly into it.
Still some work to do, but the goal is to automate as much of the accounting as I can so I’m not buried in spreadsheets at the end of every month.
Let the robots do the math.

That’s it for this week — a little quieter on the outside, but big wins behind the scenes.

P.S. At the bottom of this post, you’ll see one of the items that people ordered this week — if you want one for yourself, go grab it while it’s still hot!

Catch you next time,
—AD
