Getting Organized, Brainstorming, and Selling on Facebook Marketplace

Andrew Dzobko

Hey everyone!
Welcome to the very first weekly update from AD-BITS! I’ve actually had the shop running for about a month now, but I’m just kicking off these posts to share what’s been going on behind the scenes.

Last week wasn’t crazy busy, but I did make some good progress.
First off, I finally set up a task deck in Nextcloud to help track everything — from brainstorming new product ideas to keeping tabs on marketing plans and small store tweaks. It's not fancy, but it’s already helping me stay a little more organized (and a little less "what was I supposed to do again?" every morning).

On the product side, I’ve been bouncing around some new ideas — one of them is actually shaping up nicely and should be hitting the store soon! (Spoiler: it’s another clever little solution for everyday life. I can’t help myself.)

Marketing has been on my mind a lot too. I’ve been brainstorming video ideas and trying to figure out how to get the word out there without feeling like I'm just yelling into the void. Definitely a work in progress, but I'm getting there.

And speaking of progress — I made another sale on Facebook Marketplace!
Honestly, Facebook Marketplace has been the most reliable place for me so far. Between Marketplace and my online store (shoutout to my girlfriend for being my first official website customer), most of my orders have actually been custom prints. No bites yet on Etsy or Fiverr, but that's okay. It feels good to see that real people are interested in what I’m making.

That’s pretty much it for this week — small steps, but it’s all adding up.

Thanks for following along, and see you next week!
